Mission Possible 2018 Gala

We were excited to be a part of the Mission Possible 2018 Gala on Dec 5th, 2018.

At this year’s gala Regional Recycling Vancouver employee, Janet Keitlah, was honored with a Momentum Award. She was a graduate of Mission Possible and works full-time at our depot.
Regional Recycling has long been a supporter of Mission Possible, their mission and their programs, often hiring graduates of their programs for our depots. Because of this support, Regional Recycling also received an Impact Partner Award.

Mission Possible is a community agency in Vancouver’s downtown eastside. Mission Possible has walked alongside people challenged by homelessness and poverty since 1992, providing employment readiness programs and a social enterprise. Mission Possible transforms lives, helping people experience a renewed sense of dignity and purpose through providing training and opportunities for meaningful work.

Mission Possible, a leading economic social enterprise agency, currently runs two social enterprise programs, MP Maintenance and MP Neighbours, that employ an average of 50 individuals per year in transitional jobs.

We’re proud to partner with such a wonderful organization providing such great support to our community!  Thank you Mission Possible for all that you do!
